Hawaii Energy NEW INCREASE UP TO $550 PER UNIT INSTANT REBATE

Mini-split air conditioners with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology is an energy-saving cooling solution for your multi-room home. Right now, you can get these rebates (below) on the installation of each qualifying unit* when it’s installed by a participating contractor. Homes needing more than one unit may qualify for more than one rebate!*A qualifying mini-split unit must include a condenser.

Repair and maintenance of air conditioning

Air Conditioner Tune-Up

Keep your home’s central or split air conditioning system running in tip-top shape by booking a maintenance tune-up. Receive an instant rebate when the tune-up is performed by a participating Clean Energy Ally. Hawaii Energy recommends having this service done annually.

Warranty

We stand behind our work with dependable warranty protection on all services. Below is a breakdown of our warranty coverage by service type:

Electrical Work

  • 1-Year Labor Warranty on all new electrical installations and replacements

  • Covers defects in workmanship and installation

  • Includes panel upgrades, circuit installations, lighting, EV chargers, and subpanels

  • We will repair or correct any issues resulting from our labor at no charge during the warranty period

  Warranty does not cover:

  • Existing wiring or components not installed by OES

  • Fixtures, devices, or materials not purchased through OES (we do not warrant third-party materials, but we do guarantee our work installing them)

  • Failures due to misuse, improper use, overloading, tampering, or environmental damage (e.g., flooding, rust, pests)

Air Conditioning

Labor Warranty
 

  • 1-Year Labor Warranty on all A/C system installations

  • Up to 3-Year Labor Warranty available with enrollment in our A/C Maintenance Program

    • Includes annual inspections, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, and performance verification
       

Equipment Warranty
 

  • Manufacturer warranties typically range from 10 to 12 years

    • Includes parts such as compressors, coils, and control boards

    • Specific coverage depends on brand (e.g., Mitsubishi, Daikin, Fujitsu)

  • We assist with warranty registration and facilitate claims if needed
     

  Labor warranty extensions apply only while the maintenance agreement remains active.

Solar Systems

  • 10-Year Workmanship Warranty on all solar PV installations by OES

  • 25-Year Panel Manufacturer Warranty

    • Covers production output, typically guaranteeing at least 80–85% efficiency over 25 years

  • Inverter Warranty: 10–12 years depending on brand (Enphase, SolarEdge, etc.)

  • We handle all warranty submissions for inverters, panels, and racking systems installed by our team
     

 Warranty void if system is tampered with, modified, or damaged by third parties, weather events, or improper maintenance.
